Judith Luise Goetsch

Judith Luise Goetsch

Judith earned her bachelor's degree in North American Studies from 2017-2021 with a focus on history, sociology, and literature. In 2020, she spent a semester at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, among others taking classes on social stratification and African-American Literature. Back in Germany, her thesis focused on the eugenic basis of the persistent association between immigration and disease at the example of New York.

In the Global History program, she hopes to further explore social and medical history, learn more about the Early Modern period, look beyond Western perspectives and meet like-minded people. She aspires to be a (historical) journalist.
