I received my MA in History from the University of Edinburgh in 2022. My thesis examined how Right and Left wing political milieus utilised concepts of camaraderie in Weimar Germany. Much of my past research examined the influence of gender ideology and violence in 20th Century Europe. My main interests are in Queer History, History of Emotions, as well as violence and collective memory. Going forward I would like to examine how these disciplines intersect with Global History, especially in regards to decolonisation and collective memories of violence.
