Yiğit Yıldırımkanlı holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey. In 2021, he spent a semester as an Erasmus exchange student at Leiden University in the Netherlands. With a background in activism on queer issues in Turkey, Yiğit has developed a keen interest in social movements, religion, extremism, and their intersections with queer movements.
