Xiaolu graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University in European Studies (German Stream). She spent one year in Heidelberg as an exchange student and really appreciated the study atmosphere in German universities, which is very flexible and respects the individuality of students. Among all the subjects she learned during Bachelor study, she found that European history, especially the modern history is the most attractive part. So she decided to switch her focus to history, in particular in a global context. Studying Global History at FU Berlin is a treasurable chance for her to deepen her historical knowledge and to better understand Europe.
