Wanda Nick graduated from the Freie Universität Berlin with a BA in Chinese Studies, where she mainly focused on 20th century Chinese history, its contemporary social conflicts and international relations. During her studies she attended a one-year language program at Peking University in Beijing and improved her Chinese language skills. Wanda decided to follow up the BA of a regional study with the Global History MA in order to broaden her perspective with regards to space and time, to use different analytical tools, and to discover new approaches.
