Virginia Qian

Virginia Qian (ch. 錢淺) is a master’s student of global history. She earned her bachelor's degree in history at Emory University in 2022, and she worked in editorial in the US before entering the MA Global History in Germany. Her research interest is primarily in Chinese traditional culture and medicine. Previously she has worked on popular science in Republican-era China, and in Berlin, she is looking forward to expanding her interest in knowledge and culture production in different regions. Outside her student work, she is a violinist and a ballet fan. She loves Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s ballet and Johannes Brahms.
