In 2012 Tyler Hoerr received a Bachelor’s in History from Illinois State University. Also graduating with a minor in Religious Studies, he has enjoyed learning and interacting with other disciplines, while also valuing the methodological approach of history. Going forward, Tyler has not only an interest in Global History, but also in the History of Emotions, which he hopes to incorporate into his studies. The Global History MA in Berlin provides a unique perspective which he finds both appealing and relevant for his academic aspirations.
