Hallo! I am Tsang Hin Lam Andy from Hong Kong and I am now pursuing a Master’s degree in Global History at Freie Universität Berlin. My passion for history began during my studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where I was initially drawn to Chinese history. However, a general western history course named “Tradition and Transformation of Western History” piqued my interest, and I became fascinated by the developments from the Roman Empire to the enlightenment era. I am also deeply interested in how civilizations developed differently between the Oriental and Occidental worlds. My research has led me to conclude that the Master's Degree in Global History at Freie Universität Berlin is the ideal program for me to fully apply my knowledge of both eastern and western history and further my academic investigations.
