Tim-Kerkmann

Tim Kerkmann was born and raised in Bielefeld, Germany. After he passed his Abitur in this beautiful, actually existing city, he moved to Tübingen in order to study for his B.A. in History and Geography. Thanks to the vivid exchange culture between Tübingen and its partner city Aix-en-Provence (Southern France), he was able to spend the third year of his studies there - a unique and recommended experience! Thereafter, he decided to continue his studies in Berlin - not just due to this program, but also because of the cultural attractiveness of this city. Additionally, the study programm allows him to focus more on African history, a field that he feels curious about after having attended several seminars on African history in France.

Apart from this, his first love is running. He runs almost every day and enjoys being outside and somewhat close to nature - maybe not so much possible in Berlin, though. Moreover, he does enjoy cycling, swimming, ice skating, playing poker and meeting up with friends - and learning languages.
