Tiberiu Oprea is from Bucharest, Romania. He has two undergraduate degrees - one in International Business and Economics, and one in History - both completed at universities in Bucharest. His main interests are related to Western Europe and North America. Through the MA, he hopes to develop a more thorough understanding of global entanglements and the processes of societal transformations. He chose the Global History MA program, as it is a unique opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with fellow students coming from all over the world, with various backgrounds and diverse interests.
