Tara graduated in 2018 from LMU Munich in History. She specialised in contemporary history and extended her field of experience while working as a student assistant at the Institute for Contemporary History (IfZ) in Munich. In her thesis she analysed the conflict between Alice Schwarzer and a hardly known Munich feminist in the context of the "new" women's movement in the FRG and tried to reclassify the importance of 'solidarity' within the movement.
