Simone Steadman-Gantous completed her degree in Public History with a minor in Anthropology at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) in 2019. Over the course of her degree she studied colonialism and postcolonialism in Canada and abroad, and took an interest in oral history research. She had the opportunity to further develop her research and presentation skills during her internship at the Centre for Oral History in Montreal, and her Fellowship at the Museum of Jewish Montreal. Her research interests include the history of migration, colonialism, and the modern Middle East.
