Sarah graduated with a bachelor's degree in European Ethnology and Area Studies from Humboldt-University of Berlin, writing a thesis with the title: “Post-Cologne: Male Refugees in Germany. The Trope of the Arabic Migrant” in 2019. During her studies she focused on the intersectionality of gender and racism, as well as on migration, islamophobia and postcolonial studies.

She has continued her studies by choosing Global History because of the constant wish to help shape non-Eurocentric perspectives in society. The master programme offers to be an enriching tool in combination with anthropological knowledge and political ambitions. Her research interest lies in the Middle East, Latin America, Postcolonial Studies and Migration. Aside from feeling comfortable in an international working environment, she hopes to network, challenge herself and be inspired for her future
