Sam studied politics and modern history at the University of Manchester. His thesis focused on urban history, exploring the idea of modernity in early twentieth century Madrid. Sam is currently interested in looking at the Global Cold War, specifically anti-imperialist and non-aligned movements across the world and their global interconnections.
