Romy St. John completed her BA in History at the University of Manchester in 2014, studying a broad range of periods, regions and themes but with a focus on conceptions of gender in early Spanish America for her thesis. She believes that Global History provides the most relevant perspective on history for today's world and is hoping to further explore ideas of gender, culture and colonialism in the MA program.
