I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and moved to Berlin in 2016. I graduated from UFRJ in 2012, with a Bachelor in History. I also spent two years as an intern in the Brazilian Navy, mainly working with historical shipwrecks. In my BA Thesis, I was able to identify and discuss some unexpected connections between Batman comics and German Expressionism. I now hope to expand this research into a Master Thesis, as well as to improve my German skills.

On a general note, I work as a videogame translator. I’m particularly interested in, well, playing videogames, but also literature and anything related to dogs.
