Robert Teusch holds a B.A. in Area Studies Asia/Africa with a focus on East Asia from Humboldt University, Berlin. His B.A. thesis examined the ideologies transported in martial arts teaching at the Japanese Nation Building University in Manchuria between 1938 and 1945. Besides Robert’s interest in the connection between ideologies and martial arts, he is a passionate martial artist himself.
