I graduated from the City College of New York with a BA in History, where I focussed primarily on the Japanese Empire and its legacies. I was particularly interested in topics of migration, repatriation, and war and occupation, during the colonial and post-war period. In joining the Global History MA in Berlin, I aim to further my theoretical knowledge and potentially expand my research into new areas. I look forward to immersing myself in the program and engaging with my student colleagues and professors.
