Oluwapelumi Tosin Ayodele

My name is Oluwapelumi Tosin Ayodele from Nigeria. I was born in 1994. In 2014, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and International Studies from Ajayi Crowther University Oyo State, Nigeria. My bachelor thesis was on the Historical Evolution of Osun Osogbo Festival where I applied my knowledge and skills in anthropology analysis, empirical research, participant observatiom and data analysis among others to explore the economic importance of the festival.

I had a one year experience with the Development Agency for Western Nigeria (D.A.W.N) Commission between 2014 and 2015 where I gained experience in socio-economic management and Community development. I have actively been involved in local volunteering services over the years. My BA degree has exposed me to the major social and cultural developments and Imperialism both inside Africa, Europe and the World at large.

My favorite quote is by Marcus Garvey he says and I quote, 'A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots'
