Kozliuk

After receiving her Master in Ukrainian Language and Literature at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Olga went to Germany in order to improve her language skills. What was planned as a one year trip resulted in a BA in Comparative Literature and History at the University of Bonn. In her bachelor thesis she combined her interest in visual culture and Eastern European history and tried to trace the construction of a new Ukrainian identity in the films of the Ukrainian poetic cinema of the 1960s and 1970s.

By studying Global History she hopes to deepen her knowledge in the areas of her interest and not to be limited to just a local context.
