I earned my degree in history from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2022. My main areas of interest include the emergence of modern nation-building, violence, and the forms of nationalization in economy and identity. Since graduating, I have participated in several research projects. One particularly engaging topic I encountered during these projects is the history of caricatures and cartoons in the late Ottoman Empire, which has recently captured my interest. I aimed to study MA Global History to deepen my understanding of historical integration and broaden my perspective for my studies. Berlin's diverse environment and opportunities, combined with FU's progressive and high-quality education, captivated me. I hope to improve my skillset and explore as many new approaches as possible.
