Michael Griff completed his BA in History at the University of Freiburg. Throughout his undergraduate studies he focused on Anglo-Irish history and confessional politics in Europe. He got interested in global history while writing his bachelor thesis on political constitutionalism in 17^th century Ireland, where he compared the English colonial perspective on Ireland to that of other contemporary colonies of the English empire. With the Global History MA Michael aims to deepen his knowledge in Global History and in the history of colonial narratives. Apart from his university studies, Michael is interested in museums and curatorial work.
