Marvin Martin did his BA in History and Political Science at the Freie Universität Berlin. During his BA, Marvin studied various regions of the world, but he was particularly interested in the interconnected time period of the “long nineteenth century”. Reflecting his special interest in the history of the British Empire, he studied for one year at the University of Kent, UK, and completed an internship at the German Historical Institute London. Marvin chose the Global History Master, because of its international orientation. By learning from people’s diverse views from around the world, he hopes to broaden his own view on history.
