Maria Sebas graduated from UC San Diego with majors in History and Political Science, and a minor in Middle East Studies in 2017. She has taken summer Arabic courses at the University of Haifa in 2014, Birzeit University in 2015 and studied briefly at An-Najah National University in 2017, during which she received her acceptance to the Global History MA and left for Berlin. In addition, she worked at Lebanon Support, a Beirut-based civil society organization, as a research assistant for three months in the summer of 2016.
