I earned my Bachelor's degree in Area Studies at Humboldt-Universität, without a specific regional focus but with an emphasis on the interface of Area and Gender Studies. In the Global History program, I hope to deepen my knowledge on topics related to intersectional feminist discussions, social justice, and histories of resistance. It is especially important to me to link what we learn to current events and developments because I believe that a holistic historic understanding is necessary to achieve lasting progressive social changes in our societies. Outside of my studies, I am interested in pop culture(s) and its influence, as well as horror and sci-fi movies and literature.
