Laura Eckl completed her B.A. in European Studies at the University of Passau, majoring in modern and contemporary Eastern European History. She focused on the Soviet Union and post-Soviet memory cultures. Throughout the M.A. program Global History, she is interested in furthering her understanding of politics of memory and transitional justice.
