Lara studied Philosophy, Area Studies (Southeast Asia, East Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean) and Philology (Spanish, Portuguese and Indonesian) in Berlin, Havana, Penang, Vienna and Curitiba. She has a strong interest in global and intercultural philosophy and believes that thinking and theorizing without context is impossible. This is why she is currently studying Global History: to curiously engage with different global contexts for thinking and philosophizing about epistemological and political issues.
