Kseniya studied Chinese language and history at the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the University of Tampere. In the course of her studies, she discovered her interest for the global and conceptual history and history of war crimes trials. In her master's degree expands upon these knowledge while focusing on the regions of East Asia and post-Soviet space.
