Although born in Augsburg, I moved to Brazil when I was 7 years old, in 1998. In Sao Paulo I studied in a bilingual (German/Portuguese) school, where I graduated in 2007. In 2008 I started my first bachelor, in International Relations, finishing in 2012. At this point it is important to point out that bachelors in Brazil are longer (between 4 and 6 years) and masters are normally only completed by those who wish to enter academia or are already successful in their careers and wish to walk that extra mile (MBAS for example). In the meantime, I had several jobs. It is customary in Brazil to work from 9h until 18h (or 16h) and then have class from 19:30 until 23h. I worked mainly in bookkeeping and as an administrative assistant.

In 2013, I moved for 6 months to New York where I studied English at the Kaplan International College to prepare for a TOEFL test. In 2015 I started my bachelor's in history at the University of Sao Paulo, finishing in December of 2018. For the last 2 years at the university, I made an internship at the Commission for International Cooperation, for the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences. There the interest for global aspects and International Organizations started coming back, and I decided to try and join both bachelors in the form of Global History. In the meantime, I also completed an exchange program at the University of Innsbruck. I stayed for six months and took introductory classes in Ancient, Medieval and Modern History.

I moved to Paris for 6 months where I worked a number of jobs, before moving on to Berlin in October 2019. In Berlin I work in customer service for a multinational Berlin based company and recently also started my Masters in Global History.
