Jules holds a B.A. in social sciences from Sciences Po Paris, where they focused on gendered and queer history in Europe and spent their third year at the Università degli Studi di Firenze in Italy. As a queer-feminist and political activist, they aim to apply their academic knowledge to the fight for social justice.

In the Global History programme, they wish to develop their knowledge on the history of the Middle East and on the study of trans* histories in the modern period, to understand how gender non-conforming people have grappled with the existing norms and the sex-gender system.

During their free time, Jules enjoys photography, cooking for & with their friends, practicing martial arts and spending time in nature.
