Joseph Biggerstaff

Joseph Biggerstaff

Originally from the United States, Joseph recently moved to Berlin from Wrocław, Poland, where he lived for four years teaching English and American culture. He also worked closely with the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław as an editor and proofreader on two recent publications, Lviv: City, Architecture, Modernism and PatchworkThe Architecture of Jadwiga Grabowska-Hawrylak.

Joseph is excited to use the Global History approach to re-evaluate historical topics such as migration, nationalism, and modernity from a non-Western-centric perspective, in order to challenge existing assumptions that inform our common understanding of these issues.
