Jay received his B.A. in history from the University of King’s College at Dalhousie University in Canada. After spending a year working for the UNHCR in Angola, he completed a B.Ed. at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Jay’s teaching career at international secondary schools first led him to Antigua and Barbuda and then to Berlin. He is particularly interested in furthering his understanding of the domestic and foreign policies of China and the United States.
