I completed my BA in History at the University of York in 2021. One of the highlights of my undergraduate degree was the opportunity to spend a year abroad in Germany studying at the University of Konstanz. This experience was one of the reasons behind my decision to return to Germany to pursue postgraduate studies.

I am very excited to deepen my historical understanding through the study of global history, an approach that is relatively new to me. During my undergraduate degree I was particularly fascinated by a course in my final year exploring the global development of communism in the 19th and 20th centuries, a topic I am very keen to research further.

Having only spent four days in Berlin prior to moving here for the MA course I am really looking forward to exploring the city and its many museums.
