Hunadah Al Hariri is a Syrian feminist and a human rights activist. She has over 10 years experience working on projects focused on empowering the civil society, with special focus on women and persons with disabilities (PwD) in the Syrian context. Through working in different capacities with various Syrian and international organizations, among them, Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR), International Medical Corps and Local Administration Councils Unit (LACU), she was able to gain a more indepth, cross-sector experience on Syrian civil society. Prior to her work experience in the non-governmental sector, she managed the Dubai branch of a small Public Relations company in the United Arab Emirates. She holds a BA in English literature from Damascus University and a MA in Global Affairs from Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi (BAU).
