Friederike Höhne completed her BA in History and Japanese Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. During her undergraduate studies, her research focused on cultural contacts between Europe and East Asia and especially on the history of Christianity in Japan. Friederike is studying Global History in order to broaden her historical perspective and to further focus on Europe’s encounter in Japan and vice versa. She is looking forward to studying within a cross-cultural atmosphere of students from all over the world.
