Florian is completing his Bachelor’s degree in history and political science at Freie Universität Berlin. During his BA, he was interested in contemporary European history, Jewish history, and history of antisemitism. His final thesis considers the character of German colonial rule in East Africa in late nineteenth century. In joining the Global History MA, he hopes to focus on African history and learn more about the history of modern imperialism.
