Elisabeth Köller completed her BA in History and Archaeology at the University of Freiburg. During an exchange year at Sophia University in Tokyo, she discovered her interest in Global History and transregional entanglements. After specializing in European Medieval History and in modern East Asian History during her undergraduate studies, she hopes to embed her studies into a broader, non-eurocentric perspective during her MA. Elisabeth is currently especially interested in discussing the application of the global historical approach for the medieval period and is looking forward to studying in Berlin, with the opportunities offered by two universities and a diverse group of Global History students.
