Dennis Kölling completed his BA in North American Studies at the John F. Kennedy Institute, Freie Universität Berlin and at the University of California, Santa Cruz. During his undergraduate studies, he focused on the relation between executive, legislative, and judiciary in the United States and the effects of US domestic policies on Cold War interventionism. During the Global History MA, Dennis aims to supplement his knowledge of the Cold War with a more transnational perspective, and hopes to learn more about the Global History of Empires. Parallel to his studies, Dennis is working on event conception and realization in the field of civic education.
