A lifelong lover of European history and genealogy, David traced his ancestral roots back to Germany, where he studied History at the University of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg during the 2014 summer semester. However, he knew his time in Germany was not meant to end there, and fortunately was accepted into the Global History MA program at Freie Universität Berlin after completing his Bachelors in Integrated Social Studies and History at the University of Akron. David believes in the power of understanding historical context in relation to diplomacy, and hopes to one day represent the good his country has to offer while in service to the US Department of State.
