Daniela graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá with two BA degrees, History and Visual Arts. After studying as an exchange student at the Australian National University and working as an intern for the Colombian Embassy in Canberra, Daniela took an interest in the diplomatic relations of Colombia with other countries in the Pacific and their establishment from a microhistory perspective of personal encounters. The Global History MA provides her with the opportunity to combine all her fields of interest and research the history of Latin America from a global approach.
