I received my BA in History from the University of San Francisco with a minor in German studies. As a junior, I spent two semesters at the FU in Berlin and enjoyed it enough to want to return after graduation. My studies and a fellowship at a Holocaust research and teaching foundation led me to focus mainly on German and European fascism, nationalism, and totalitarian structures. I hope to pursue these topics and to find interest in new ones along the way in the MA program.
