Originally from Taiwan, Chiu-Hsuan Chang graduated from National Changchi University in Taiwan in June 2013 with a BA in History, Radio and Television. In 2012, she spent a year in Ulm, Germany as an exchange student. Her interests include modern China, diplomatic history and the history of Taiwan under Japanese colonial rule.
