Chelsey Schmid completed her BA at Hillsdale College in the US, where she graduated summa cum laude with a double major in History and German. She wrote her honors thesis on amateur and professional archeologists who went in search of the “lost civilization” of Atlantis. Before applying to the Global History program, she worked as an associate editor for an academic publishing company in California. Chelsey is particularly interested in publishing, archives, and methods of recording and transmitting history.
