Cecilia studied comparative literature and history at the Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Edinburgh. In the course of her studies, she discovered her interest for the political and economic history of dictatorships and unstable democracies. In her master's degree she hopes to expand upon these topics while focusing on the regions of Latin America and East Asia.
