Born in Chile, Carla holds a BA in History and a Master's in Journalism from Adolfo Ibáñez University, where she wrote her Bachelor's thesis on Martin Luther and the Reformation of the Church. She applied to the MA in Global History hoping to expand her knowledge of European History and History of Religions from a unique perspective. During her undergraduate studies, she did a semester abroad in the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain and has recently lived in Australia. She wanted to experience Berlin's diverse culture while studying in the city that has been protagonist of some of the most important historical events of the 20th century.
