Benedict Oldfield completed his BA in German and History at University College London in 2014, which included a year abroad spent at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He focused on early modern Central and Eastern European history and is keen to explore this period in more depth by examining other regions of the world and the onset of European colonialism.
