Ben Miller is an American writer and researcher in Berlin. His academic work focuses on the transnational intellectual history of queer movements relating to questions of spirituality and labor and has been published or is forthcoming in Invertito: Fachverband Homosexualität und Geschichte and OutHISTORY. From 2016-2017, he was awarded a DAAD long-term research grant for a project comparing and connecting queer identity formation in Germany and California. He completed his B.A. with highest honors from New York University in 2014. He has presented academic work at the Schwules* Museum Berlin and the WelcomeOUT Festival in Uppsala, Sweden; and regularly publishes essays, criticism, journalism, and short fiction.
