Barbara Uchdorf was born in Germany but grew up in Miami, FL. She graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida in 2013 with a BA in History and Political Science. Her bachelor’s thesis dealt with the process of normalization within the family in post-war Germany. Barbara is interested in the Holocaust and post-World War II memory studies, to which she finds applying a global history perspective very useful. She also works at the Institut für Zeitgeschichte München-Berlin.
