Austin Mankin

Austin Mankin received a BA in History from Tulane University from 2021. Growing up in the marshland just south of New Orleans, climate and environmental management were topics of personal relevance that became prominent themes in his undergraduate studies. Following the completion of his bachelors, he spent two years in Cologne teaching English and learning German on a Fulbright Fellowship. He is interested in contextualizing local histories of environmental disaster and resilience within broader trends of global climate change.
