Konstantina Athinaiou
I received my Bachelors degree in Social Anthropology and History in the University of the Aegean in Lesvos, Greece, in 2018. During my undergraduate studies I focused on anthropological approaches of migration, gender and sexuality. The same time I developed a strong interest in oral history and social history.
By joining the MA in Global History I expect to create a better understanding on historical processes in regional and global context and also to develop strong historical methodological approaches. My research interests at the moment can be found in a wide range, from post-colonial history to queer history and ''re-reading'' Holocaust history by gendered perspectives.
